Tom Fogarty directs the delivery of medical care for the entire Concentra organization. He offers more than 26 years of experience in occupational medicine. Dr. Fogarty joined the organization in 1983 as a founding member of Concentra’s predecessor company.
Within Concentra, he is responsible for overseeing the medical practice, assuring evidence-based health care, and supervising more than 500 clinicians. He is also an officer of the Concentra Occupational Health Research Institute, established in 2000.
Dr. Fogarty earned his Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the University of Houston and his M.D. from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He has post-doctoral training in the area of Family Practice.
Dr. William Hopper joined Concentra in 2006 to head up the Concentra Physician Review program, bringing to the organization over three decades of experience in occupational medicine, medical management, and family medicine.
Dr. Hopper graduated from Union College, St. Louis University Medical School and completed his residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. He also completed the executive MBA program at Golden State University in San Francisco. Dr. Hopper has served on the faculty of Sonoma State University Department of Psychology, UC Davis School of Medicine, UCSF School of Medicine, Oregon Health Sciences University and the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has also presented graduate educational seminars at Albany Medical School and Duke University Medical School. He was a member of the Board of Directors for the Pacific Foundation for Medical Care and has served as Chief of Staff for Palm Drive Hospital in Sebastopol, CA.. Dr. Hopper is currently appointed as an Expert Medical Reviewer for the Medical Board of California.
Dr. Hopper's clinical experience includes solo family practice, medical groups, including Sutter Medical Group of Santa Rosa, the Permanente Medical Group of the Northeast, the Vancouver Clinic, Lifelong Medical Care (Berkeley, CA), US Healthworks, and has expertise in clinic-based occupational, urgent care, family and addiction medicine. He has developed and managed utilization and quality management programs for hospitals, medical groups, IPAs, MSOs and health plans in California, New York, North Carolina, Washington State, and Oregon. He has extensive experience in the development and application of electronic health records, quality and practice performance improvement programs, evidence-based medicine, billing fraud, practice protocols, and regulatory compliance.

Trish Walsh offers more than 25 years of clinical experience in utilization review. Her responsibilities at Concentra include managing the physician review operations, URAC accreditation, and other clinically oriented programs. Prior to her role with Concentra, Ms. Walsh was employed by HCSC (dba BCBSTX) in a key leadership role managing the medical review department. There she was one of BCBSTX’s first medical reviewers to establish peer review activities and fraud identification. She was instrumental in the development of clinical programs, utilization review, and achieving URAC accreditation. She held multiple positions there including Senior Manager of Medical Review and was ultimately promoted to Senior Director in claims.
A registered nurse licensed in Texas and Illinois, Ms. Walsh is a graduate of the Parkland College Nursing School in Champaign, Illinois. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree, with a concentration in Health Care Administration, from Dallas Baptist University.
