Set-up, Training, and Education

Concentra provides a range of logistical training and guidelines/literature resources to assist you in your work as a physician reviewer.

The Physician Review program provides the following training and access to medical and educational resources:

  • An initial training by the National Medical Director and Director of Operations
  • Access to Advancer™, our proprietary medical claim management system, from your computer desktop
  • Guidance on the actual set-up of your review office, including the review materials and physical/ergonomic tips that other physicians have found to be "best practices"
  • Periodic monitoring of new physicians to answer questions and advise them on procedural matters
  • A semi-annual newsletter from the National Medical Director informing members about the program, legislative issues, patient outcomes information, and best practices
